Buggy, the Star Clown, is the captain of the Buggy Pirates, the co-leader of the Buggy and Alvida Alliance, and a former apprentice of the Roger Pirates alongside Shanks. Buggy ate the Bara Bara no Mi, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to split his body into pieces and reassemble them at will. This power makes him immune to slashing attacks.
