Edward Newgate, also known as Whitebeard was the captain of the Whitebeard Pirates and bagged the title “The Strongest Man in the World” after Gol D. Roger’s death, which was supported by having the highest active bounty whilst alive, and the second highest bounty of any pirate in history. A Yonko member that ruled the New World used to be an orphan hailing from the island of Sphinx. He was also a member of the Rocks Pirate and became part of the Four Emperors that rule over the New World, up until his death during the Battle of Marineford. This statue is a depiction of such prowess, as Edward Newgate stands on his whale of a ship, Moby Dick, exhibiting his signature Murakumogiri down, while wielding the power of one of the 12 Supreme Grade Swords while showcasing a destroyed Marineford Tower in the background.
